It was back in 1992 when the first greenhouse with hydroponic tomatoes and bell peppers was grown in Mexico by De Saracho Greenhouses, in a time when this type of growing technique was not as popular as it is today.
Two years later, Divemex opened their first state-of-the-art greenhouse in Etzatlan, Jalisco. The Divemex had become a solid company formed by two business partners with complementing backgrounds—the De Saracho family with over 50 years of experience in vegetable production, and the Beckmann family with legendary experience in the production of agave and tequila in Jalisco, México.
At Divemex, we are committed to growing top-quality bell peppers through innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility. With over 30 years of experience, we operate more than 500 hectares of high-tech greenhouses, ensuring fresh and flavorful produce for North America.
Our 5,000+ seasonal team members are the heart of our success, and we proudly invest in their well-being through housing, education, and fair working conditions. Certified by Fair Trade, GlobalG.A.P., and PrimusGFS, we uphold the highest standards of quality and ethics.
More than just growers, we are partners in bringing color to every recipe and every market—together.
